So, I guess I should introduce myself.

Welcome to my blog! My space to create. My blank slate to journey on. I thank you for clicking through this far.

My name is MissEsquire. Well, that’s not my real name, but it is the chosen name for the content posted here. Friends in the internet space also call me ‘Esquire’, ‘Esquee’, and sometimes even ‘Miss E’. Pick one. I can go with the flow.

I decided to journey here, create a space for myself, and begin sharing my personal thoughts publicly as a challenge to myself.

Being “seen” has always been tricky for me. It’s either I am not seen enough, not seen correctly, or seen in too bright of a light. In this space, I intend to be seen in all facets of myself—to allow others to see me authentically as I am and as I choose to be.

Vulnerability has never been easy for me, but as I grow older, I am learning that it is a choice. I’m choosing to be vulnerable through a craft that I have always loved—and not under a pseudonym that is completely disconnected from my true identity (yes, I have been there lol and you may have read, retweeted or stumbled upon my work before 😉 ). Instead, I am voicing my thoughts through a moniker that has become near and dear to me. Still, a pseudonym of sorts, but one that exists out in the open.

I don’t expect for my writing here to be popular and I don’t expect for everything I write to spark interest in even those I call myself close to. This site—this space—is strictly for me. It is for myself and I intend to share writing, thoughts, and ideas that I would typically hold close.

It’s very possible that I will post content that is quick and cute, such as reviews of products I love or pictures of things in life that excite me, but the bulk of what I hope to share consists of my ideas. My thoughts. My words.

I invite you to journey with me.
